Rx Massage Therapy Solution

Low Back Pain from recent overuse, heavy lifting, repetitive bending and trauma from a car accident that restricts movement or "catches" when you bend or lean. Chronic back pain is when it has been bothering you for several months or even years and may involve a disc pathology. Sudden onset pain may be a recently pinched nerve or muscle spasm.
This is what I am best at treating and getting immediate, long lasting results. In just a few sessions, you can be free of most sources of low back pain. You must be willing to do daily self-care to help yourself between our sessions. In many cases, movement is the path out of low back pain. Each person is different so thorough evaluation is necessary.
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome or other wrist pain due to the repetitive movements of the wrist and fingers. If you work at a computer or drive a lot, you may suffer from this nerve impingement.
Assessment will show us where there is nerve is compressed, how to treat it, and more importantly how to prevent it with regular self-care specific to C.T.S.
Plantar Fasciitis and Heel Spurs that cause pain with every step and standing no matter what shoe you wear with expensive orthotic insoles that don't seem to help. You cringe thinking about that first step in the morning because the pain can be so intense, and don't even think about running or walking for exercise.
Not all foot pain is Plantar Fasciitis. Learn how heel spurs form and you can take steps to eliminate the pain and understand how keep it away after just a few sessions and simple exercises. Structural and muscle imbalances are discovered through assessment to reveal the source of the heel pain to create a treatment plan with self-care.
Chronic Headaches and Migraines can range anywhere from 1 to 10 on the pain scale. They can keep you from functioning normally through your daily life. There is no need to deal with chronic headaches and have to keep the lights dim, or take a drug that does not cure the source.
Depending on where you feel your headache depends on what massage approach should be taken (e.g. temples, behind eyes, base of skull). I specialize in treating headaches from the mild Monday headache to the daily, severe migraine. Evaluation and history is key to determining the source and resolving your headaches.
Shoulder Pain, Frozen Shoulder and Adhesive Capsulitis that keeps you from sleeping in your favorite position and exercising as much as you would like to. Athletes that compete in sports that use one side more than the other know what I'm talking about.
The most movable joint in the body is held in place by muscles, several ligaments, and a complex joint capsule. Dysfunction in those muscles, ligaments, or inter-joint adhesions lead to shoulder pain and limited range of motion. Orthopedic assessment and manual therapies will determine the cause and correct your individual issues
Poor Posture from sitting at a desk, behind the wheel or from standing all day leads to muscle imbalances. Weakness in upper back muscles from slouching makes you feel tightness in the upper back into the neck and shoulders, and what many people refer to as "knots".
Those muscle imbalances lead to pressure on joints that begin to show up as pain and tightness. Treatment approaches are determined by locating shortened muscles and long, weak muscles through muscle testing. Muscle activation techniques, corrective exercises, and therapeutic stretching will be provided as necessary.
