Working with the joint capsule to unrestrict adhesions and the inter joint fascia is gentle and non-invasive, yet the results are incredible. Once the joint has been freed from internal restriction, the fascia and muscles are assessed for the appropriate tonification or relaxation techniques including myofascial therapy and various forms of stretching and massage. The addition of this sequence, along with several other techniques, made dramatic improvements for a lot of people this week. During my research, I stumbled upon this quote.
"To a physiologist it seems much more reasonable that the limitation and resistance to motion of a joint that characterizes an osteopathic lesion do not arise within the joint, but are imposed by one or more of the muscles that traverse and move the joint.”

Adding the work of James Waslaski to an already assessment heavy method is making every session more effective.
